Moreover, the product helps build a more flexible road base in order to increase durability and life expectancy of the pavements cross sections. By mixing the product with water and then incorporating it into the existing in-place soils, along with lime kiln dust, it provided a stable foundation upon which hot mix asphalt could be placed with low life cycle. TS-100 (Dust Control) Has been developed to penetrate and create a hard, resilient surface by cementing loose material of the road base into a tight bond. When properly applied TS-100 will harden to remain dust free, moisture resistant and will enhance surface anti-skid qualities. TS-100 is unique in that it has strong chains of polymer molecules that are cross-linked into grid like patterns which may range up to 1,000,000 molecules long. |
